Well, it’s 1:16am and I’ve spent 14 hours total refilming, editing and uploading the corrected version of the Virus Meets Granny Shawl. It was like a marathon that I couldn’t break from. I didn’t even eat until 8:30pm. Coffee sustained me. Nectar of the Gods and don’t let anyone tell you any differently!
I am happy with this one. I do hope to learn to transition the breaks/pauses in the video smoother in the future though but all around I am happier with this version than the last for more than the obvious lack of the glaring mistake within the first three minutes. I was far more prepared for this filming and editing session than I was when I first uploaded it. As I said a few days ago, small blessings. Everything happens for a reason right?
I know it’s technically past midnight so I did miss my post for Saturday but I’ll post again tomorrow… err…. later today to make up for it. I hope you’ll take some time to watch the video and perhaps work the pattern. I really do enjoy this shawl and think it’s stunning when it’s worn. The tutorial is made with a beginner in mind so there is lots of counting. If you’re a veteran crocheter or already know the virus and/or granny pattern please keep that in mind.
Until tomorrow… or later…
