Welp, I may or may not have gone a little bit crazy with the Black Friday sale at Lovecrochet.com … I am not going to apologize though. Oh no, this yarn is far too lovely for that. But before the gushing, the details.
I ordered on Friday, November 24th and it shipped on Sunday November 26th. It arrived at my doorstep today, December 5th. 11 total days from purchase to doorstep. Not bad, certainly better than previous yarn orders from other companies. In their defense I do live in the middle of no where and everything always takes longer to get to me. I once had something shipped two day priority mail and it arrived 9 days later. I didn’t select any special shipping with this order as I made certain to hit their “free shipping” mark whilst purchasing. The only complaint I have about shipping is that I got zero notification of where my package was until November 29th where it was apparently scanned in IL. Probably the shipping company’s fault and not LoveCrochet.com’s though.
The yarn. Is. Exquisite! I cannot say this enough. A little over a month ago I did a poll for science, you know the one’s I am always posting about on here and to my surprise an “indy” brand made it’s way into the top ten globally purchased yarns. You might remember me talking about them. This purchase stems from that. I believe I’ve mentioned here that I am impressionable. This is yet another example of just how impressionable I actually am. I couldn’t just buy one or two.. oh no.. I had to purchase nearly forty! I wouldn’t have done it if I hadn’t of gotten such glowing reviews from others on it though. I just knew I was going to love it. Paintbox Yarns have not disappointed.
I have no idea what I am going to make with this. None. At. All. But it’s mine. I might just roll around on it like a cat for a few hours and then try to find something in my brain to do with it.
<3 a lovely haul 🙂
