Looking into 2018 – Cals, videos, etc…

Hello everyone!

The last few weeks have been rather hectic for me. So many great things have been happening in my life plus the holidays. Needless to say it has made it quiet difficult to find time to sit down and blog. I did however want to share a few things with you:

I’ve continued to film tutorials as I said I would. For the past few weeks I have been releasing videos on Sundays and Wednesdays. They are still very basic tutorials and focus on beginners because that is my goal. I hope you’ll share my channel with anyone you know how might be thinking about joining our lovely, crafty world!

I have been asked to film the tutorials for two CALs that will be coming this year. One in early spring and another in early summer. I am looking forward to working up and filming both of these CALs for you all! The one for the summer isn’t in testing yet and still being designed but the one for early spring is in testing and a teaser was just released today so I feel like I can share!

Behold! Arizona! I have been working on this with the testers over the past few weeks and have to say that it is one of the most relaxing patterns I’ve worked in a while. I won’t go into the details here because Emma over at Pippin Poppycock has already done that. Jump on over to her blog to see what the inspiration is for her design and other details that she has decided to release to the public. I will say however that this CAL will be very beginner friendly and in the off chance that you do get stuck with something I’ll be holding your hand, step by step through the process so… no need to worry!

I do have other crochet projects on my “must complete” list for 2018. A mermaid tail, a dragon tail, a Mandala Madness and a Demelza. All of which I have the yarn for I just haven’t gotten around to it because other things have taken priority.

I hope this year brings each of you all the blessings (and crochet time) that your hearts can stand. I look forward to growing with you all, learning with you all, strengthening the friendships that have been fostered from It’s Crochet O’Clock and hopefully making many more new friends.
